No Eggs, No Applesauce...Soda Cake

Don't you love when you open the fridge to make a cake and can't find any of the ingredients you need? Such was the case tonight. I had a boxed cake mix and only 2 out of the 3 eggs to make the cake. You could substitute applesauce for the eggs if you have it. I needed something to act as the eggs would to help the cake rise, I chose soda. Replace the eggs in your recipe with about 10 ounces of soda. For lighter yellow cakes, use a Sprite, for chocolate, you can use a cola. I used Soda Stream Cola for mine and omitted the oil.
